Quaich Challenge 30-Nov-2014
Last Sunday we sailed the Quaich Challenge with Duncan as OOD. The VERY shifty North easterly winds created some surprising conditions which sent 4 crews swimming.
We had two races with some good spinnaker reaches. Winner on personal handicap was
Jeremy Bird & Ric. Runner up was Sehr/Jeremy Bolling followed by Jon & Mini.
After the race the Chieftain of the Caledonian Society presented the prizes and after that there was a grand lunch and a performance by the Pipes & Drums from Scotland.
