A prize given by the Commodore who acts as OOD. A single fleet race.
Commodore's Race Sunday 22nd April 2017
22nd April the Commodore's Race took place before the AGM. Per & Mini managed to include fishing on the first leg by getting caught up in the fishing nets! Better lookout needed. The race comprising three boats was won convincingly by Jeremy Bolling & Rob Moore. Capt Per & Mini were 2nd and Per G Hansen and Janaka a close 3rd. The course which took the boats all over the lake was designed by Asanka.
The AGM followed and the new committee voted in.
The prize giving took place and the most impressive inaugural BOD 50 motorboat trophy was presented to the worthy winner, Kshemendra, in Hot Lemon by Wenche, the wife of the new Commodore. The remaining places were 2nd Duncan - Gale Force, joint 3rd Jonny - Croc Hunter & Rob - Persa, 5th Mini - Swampy, 6th Anil - Black Magic
The sailing prizes were also presented by Wenche. Attached is a video of the presentation to the winning Helms & Crew (or their representative!)
